I am a big fan of you and Metallica and I know that you are interested in the nwobhm scene around 1979. You may be interested in a band called Jameson Raid. They came from the birmingham area close to Stourbridge and \"Diamond head Country\" in fact sean and brian may have even known or played on the same bill as \"The Raid\" I Saw them play live back then and they have recently done a few reunion gigs with an album of archive material released as well they are woth a listen the album is called just as the dust had settled. They had a track called hard lines released on the metal for muthas vol II compilation album around 1980 this would be a wonderful track for metallica to cover and would highlight your superb drumming and Rob\'s bass playing.

Lars, I\'m a fan of Metallica and have been from the beginning. Your the best drummer out there. I wanted to ask you how do you deal with the day to day ringing in your ears. I have Tinnitus now and I\'m having a very dificult time with it. Just thought you could give some words of wisdom. Thanks David
